We've all been shown the way of searching all candidate records, which is extremely long winded and relatively tricky.
It is crying out for a traditional search function
Being able to click 'find' then going into 'CV & Docs' and being able to type a true boolean string with AND OR NOT () "" etc. would be incredible
It would save a load of time (with all the layering it means a simple 20 second boolean string will take 5 mins) and make HRS much more easy to use
The next release of HRS Connect will now support Boolean Searching.

Thanks for your suggestion, we are presently releasing v1.4 and once this is complete we will start to review the feature set of the next release.
The current search functionality is based on FileMaker's own search engine and therefore provides a very fast and efficient way to obtain results from the database (albeit that you may find the request building to be timely). We have discussed boolean search previously but until now we have not identified a truly fast and efficient manner to deliver this within HRS Connect, as to deliver this we would have to custom build the search and this could lead to inaccuracies in the results returned.
We will have an update on this in the future.
