enhanced offer and acceptance stages

Quick question when a job offer comes in the process for which requires a box to be filled in before email is generated for sending, one has the option to input the offer salary and get asked by system whether we wish to amend said salary offer to same as that which is shown on body of job. I usually decline that to show what the job was on for originally and if offer is higher or lower I want to have a record of that. The irksome bit is on the offer box and email piece, as one has a section to add the start date, which shows on the email, all good, however the start date on the main job body text doesn’t change or gets populated and need to remember to add that amendment manually, is that something that should be linked for future options?
