When switching from different tasks we need to click back and forth quite a lot. Of course, the back arrow can help but there is a quicker way to achieve this.
For instance, Working in a client record, then a vacancy record and perhaps a different applicant record. As one moves from one to the other we have to hover in order to produce a drop-down and then click on a selection (even if it is the same as last used in that function area.
Today I just wanted to go back to an applicant details record that I was in previously.
Is it possible to programme the top buttons to have an alternative function to the drop down feature?
ie hover to produce the drop down but to click the button to return to the last function it performed, whether that's a list or a details tab of a specific person etc.

HRS Support Official comment Hi Martin
In answer to your feature request, there already is a button to go back and forth at the top right hand corner of every screen presented in HRS Connect, next to the drop down that you are referring to.
Have you reviewed our training videos? I think we cover this in the navigation video. Also I feel it would be beneficial for us to schedule in some one on one training sessions with our senior in house trainer.
Please contact support@gethrs.com should you require the videos to be sent to you again.
Kind regards
Carl

Just tested this.
It works in a limited way. My back and forth movement using the fwd and back arrows did not work across the different fields ie from contact detail to list was ok going back and forth. Could even back to Dashboard and settings.
Then I tried to look at Candidate list and detail, again back and forth was ok but when I went backwards from that it was not possible to see some screens I had been in.
For instance, it went from candidate back to dashboard and not to the client contact records.
This was ll in the same session and in sequence.
Hence asking for a double click on the top button to take you back to say a Contact record when you've been in a candidate record.
Hope this makes sense.
(I've looked at the training vid on Lists and details and the navigation instructions twise now)

Martin Smith My request would be to have a single click on the top button to take you back to the detail or list you last accessed under that button.
Although Candidate (for instance) will allow you to see a drop down, a click on that top button will ignore the dropdown and take you to the last view under that button (detail or list)
