OMIT BUTTON IN LIST VIEW

Omit button (this was part of my Lite package) in order to make the creation of lists easier. The omit button would appear next to the name on either the client contact or candidate in order to make the method of creating lists a lot easier. Having to go into the "record" is quite time consuming and I always finds the maths having to "omit multiple" quite difficult as it depends on where the current record is starting from.

 Unfortunately the exclude button doesn't have the same effect, the omit button is ideal for reducing your mailshots so that you only approach relevant individuals.

  Hi Alex

  You can do more than just omit one record in Connect - see attached image. You can now Show all, Omit One Record, Omit Multiple records, modify last search and carryout a Boolean search. All this can be done from the "Records" dropdown.

  Thanks for the information Carl, I find that having the omit button next to the record is a quicker process in order to create the designated list. Essentially you have to click twice which is duplicating the time it takes, unfortunately I've been used to compiling lists in HRS lite which had the omit button next to the record which made the process a lot easier. If this could be added at a later date then that would be fantastic.

  Hi Alex

  One other thing you may want to consider is a short cut. Pressing "ctrl" & "T" on your keyboard will also perform the "Omit" Function so basically the same as 1 click.

  Thanks Carl, I'd still rather have an omit button attached to the individual  record, it makes it a lot easier to create mailing lists.

  Hi Alex

  The dropdown cover 6 different options requested by most of our clients and we can't have 6 extra buttons hence why there is a short cut and also the menu dropdown.
