Longlist / Shortlists need to work better

When working through a shortlist or Longlist the progress table should automatically update. When I send a CV to a client the tab should be automatically be changed to CV sent in both the longlist and shortlist.

When candidates are shortlisted from a longlist, there is no need to be redirected to the shortlist page as you find that you are forever going back and forth between the two screens, there's no need for this.

Also when working a longlist and reviewing multiple candidates which can easily be 20+ its easier to go into actions and show in a list. The problem is you cannot shortlist a candidate from their record card / Longlist & Shortlist tab. All is needed is to be able to have the same drop down as is in the the Job record card progress tab to be able to click to shortlisted. Eliminating going back and forth between screens which takes far too long.

From sending the cv to a client, the job record and candidate record card should all be syncronised.

  We are currently reviewing a few features in the long and short list for suture releases so your input is appreciated.

  While we work on these feature please note that it is possible to add a candidate to a long or short list from the candidates record card. Simply click on the "+" button at the top right of the candidates Long or Short List tab and you can add them directly from there.

  Thanks Carl, I also think it would be a good idea to have a quick link to a candidates CV and be able to see their contact number on the Job record card, the consultant who linglisted the candidate is not a necessary field and is not worth having, the City is not important either. To save consulants time being able to quickly view the cv and have immediate access to their number would be much more beneficial.

  the city/county is more useful to me than the candidate number but I would like to see some changes to the long/shortlist usability, it's definitely the most clunky section of the platform as far as I'm concerned

  PLEASE make this so you can sort the longlist list alphabetically, also please make it so you can change the long/shortlist progress from a candidate record (longlist/shortlist section)
  Currently we have to search for candidate record add a comment within the longlist progress within the candidate record so it turns green then go back to the job long list and search down until I see the green box, then I can change the long/list shortlist progress.

  The date of application would be useful and if we could sort this would be better still.
  Also, scrolling through a 20 or more in the long list is cumbersome.

  Is there some way that rejected people are greyed out and moved to the bottom of the list.

   

  Currently, for instance, new applicants added to the bottom as it is in record order oldest at the top!

  I filter them now for progress but we have 200 odd applications for some of our roles and without being able to see in alphabetcal order is hard. 
  
  Love the update allows us to change the progress of a longlist or shortlisting via the candidate record now. That is a lifesaver

  Yes it's getting there.  I'd love not to have to keep scrolling through the longlist when most have been dealt with. 

  The candidate's ID default list makes it hard to find the new applicants, espcially if they are on the system already.

  And ...new ones still go to the bottom.

  Then when applying the filter, the problem is it applies to the shortlist unless it is changed.  ie if we use a filter say "Logicmelon" to show new applicants from logicmelon, when we follow an applicant to shortlist, the filter is still working so you can't see the person without removing the filter.

   

  Spend a day doing that and it drives you nuts.

  a sort / filter option for each column in the long / shortlist would be perfect!

  also a date / time stamp for each candidate added and updated

  Have an applicant who applied for a role.

  Can't see the date he applied, not in the longlist, not in his record.

  Had to go onto Logicmelon to see when he applied.

  No room for another column so not sure of the way out of this unless a drop down or popup when hovering over the name.

  Personally, I'd like one column to go to make way for the date of application, and the ability to sort in date order.

  In the long-list / shortlist existing filter (progress)- I cannot filter he "blanks" ....

  Candidates that I have not interacted with yet, this is essential for making my call list for candidates to qualify

  Richard made a good point about removing the City column.

  Then Ian made a counter case as it's critical for him.

   

  Perhaps there's an argument for customisable columns for the individual user.

   

  Maybe add another column for the date of application but be able to drag columns you want to the left.  I could easily let go the candidate ID column as it serves no purpose (I'd drag it to the right - ie out of site or better still have it removed.)

   

   

  I also agree with Judith about the sort.  That is a basic for database columns abd would be useful in other forms too.
